Ortlieb Ultimate Six Classic Handlebar Bag
The Ortlieb Ultimate Six Classic is a durable, waterproof handlebar bag engineered to provide essential, fast-access storage on long tours, daily commutes, and bikepacking trips. Constructed from tough, PVC-coated polyester fabric with an IP54 waterproof rating, it keeps contents protected against heavy rain, road spray, and dust. The 5-litre capacity offers ample space for valuables, food, and ride essentials that need to remain easily accessible without stopping.
A key feature of the compact 5-litre model is its transparent, rainproof flap compartment measuring 21 x 12 cm, designed to hold smartphones, GPS units, or maps while allowing full touchscreen functionality through the cover. Inside, a zippered pocket with an integrated key carabiner keeps small items organized, while a high-luminosity 3M Scotchlite reflector on the front enhances visibility during low-light riding. The bag comes equipped with a detachable shoulder strap for easy off-bike carrying when parked.
Designed for universal touring setup flexibility, the Ultimate Six Classic features a rear mounting plate compatible with all Ortlieb handlebar mounting sets as well as Rixen & Kaul Klickfix systems. The reinforced lid utilizes a magnetic flap closure for effortless one-handed operation while riding, making it an indispensable front-end bag for all-weather cyclists.
The two larger models enable the use of different inserts in case you want to securely stow any special gear such as your high-performance camera while you're underway. All of the handlebar bags come with a detachable shoulder strap, a reflector and a zippered inside pocket. All Ultimate Six models are compatible with all ORTLIEB mounting sets, as well as Rixen & Kaul Klickfix mounting systems.
