Condor Cycles is one of the largest independent cycle retailers in the UK. Since 1948, Condor has been dedicated to designing and manufacturing bicycles and components that surpass others in quality and performance. Condor is a family-based business, now in its third generation. The passion of the family-run Condor has built the brand into one of the most renowned frame manufacturers and cycling retailers in the world.

We are currently looking to fulfil the following roles:

  • Full time & part time sales team member (based at our Gray's Inn Road store)
  • Full time workshop mechanic (based at our Lewisham site)
  • Full & part time warehouse operative (based at our Lewisham site)

Dispatch team member (full & part time roles)

Based at our warehouse facility in Lewisham, we are looking to recruit individuals to be part of a well-established and growing company. You would be picking stock, dispatching online orders, and helping to maintain the warehouse on a day-to-day basis. This is a non-customer facing role.

Skills and experience

  • Experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment — particularly around stock checking, rotating and replenishment — is beneficial, but not essential
  • Basic numeracy and literacy
  • Be a good team player
  • Good communication skills
  • Honest and reliable
  • Role includes light physical work
  • Accurate mindset
  • General IT competency

Salary

  • £10.50 to £12.50 per hour, based on experience
Sales associate (full & part time roles)

We are recruiting new applicants to join our ever-growing staff team at our flagship store on Gray’s Inn Road, Holborn. In a busy and exciting environment, we strive to deliver outstanding service to our customers, celebrate cycling, and provide the latest products from the leading brands.

You will be required to engage with customers, from meeting and greeting to understanding their needs for cycle clothing, accessories, and components. Your role will involve keeping the store stocked and merchandised, as well as preparing click and collect orders. You will need to develop your product knowledge for a variety of the latest and most exciting products in the industry. We will provide access to training to keep your knowledge refreshed.

Skills and experience

  • An interest in cycling, though not essential
  • Polite and helpful
  • Basic numeracy and literacy
  • Work as part of a team player and be proactive
  • Good organisational skills
  • Able to work under pressure
