About this model
The Italia Disc embodies what the perfect road bike should be: comfortable, fun, and fast. Capable and easy to ride on all kinds of roads, the Italia has been a model in our range since 1948 and now features disc brakes. Handmade from premium 7000 series aluminium and paired with a high-quality carbon fork, the Italia Disc is a high quality road frame with full mudguards mounts.
We love to take it out on pre-season reliability trials, smashing along Kent and Hertfordshire lanes, and driving up the ascents of the Ashdown Forest. Then on Monday, cruise through London’s busy streets, passing buses and cars full of commuters fighting with each other for space. This is the Italia, our most versatile, comfortable, all-around, up-for-anything, pure road machine.
The Italia Disc is up for anything and it is a celebration of everything we love about cycling.
Geometry
The geometry of a frame refers to the lengths and angles of its tubes. It directly affects the way you ride and the way the bike handles. Condor's geometries are tried and tested, and adjusted between our models to suit their style.

Corrosion treatment
Once the frame has been welded and cleaned, it receives a light anodising treatment before being painted. This provides some protection against corrosion, which combined with regular maintenance will help to keep your frame in good condition. Read more
Handmade aluminium frame
The Italia is made using the same 7000 series aluminium tubing as our performance-focussed Italia RC. It is custom rolled and shaped to save weight, and the top tube flattened and ovalised to increase strength and reduce unnecessary material. We make by hand rather than on a production line because our premium aluminium is best welded by an artisan who can focus on each frame, one at a time. The ride it creates is ultra smooth and planted, and that is a result that speaks for itself.
Maximum versatility
There is no need to compromise when it comes to tyres. Fit up to 30mm wide with full mudguards to keep dirty road spray off your body. The Italia has integrated rack mounts, allowing you to keep the weight off your back and onto a rack, making the Italia a fast commuter and winter bike.
Endurance geometry
A comfortable riding position, planted handling, and the wonderful responsiveness of alloy under power work together to create a bike that will help you feel in control and get more out of every ride. Unlike our race-focused Italia RC, the Italia features our endurance geometry. The head tube is slightly taller than on our race frames to provide a degree of comfort and reduce rider fatigue. It makes it perfect for a first road bike, longer winter rides, events, or a commuter.
