About this model
Gravel beast, super commuter, kit hauler, trail cruiser and shopper — the Bivio+ was designed with versatility and utility in mind. We blended the geometry of our gravel range with our legendary tourer, the Heritage, to create a frameset and bike that offers utility and adaptability, offering stable handling when you're loaded and a nod to fast, road handling when you're rushing to run an errand.
Designed to carry everything for a self-sufficient, off-Tarmac adventure, you’ve got plenty of options to ride the way you want. Fit front bottle cages for more water carrying, top tube mounts for essentials, front pannier bags, rear pannier and frame bags. Designed around decades of experience building our Cadet and Heritage touring bikes, the geometry allows you to front load and maintain your handling, even on tougher, muddier routes. The Bivio+ allows you to go beyond the traditional road tourer and gravel machine.
If keeping things simple is what you desire, fit a front rack and basket and roll on out to collect shopping essentials, commute to work with your laptop safely stowed up front, ride down to watch a local race with spare warm kit strapped to the rack, or roll out to meet friends, cutting across commons and heathland on a sunny evening.
Geometry
The geometry of a frame refers to the lengths and angles of its tubes. It directly affects the way you ride and the way the bike handles. Condor's geometries are tried and tested, and adjusted between our models to suit their style.

Our reviews speak for themselves

Special shaped Columbus steel for versatility and strength
Working closely with our friends at Columbus in Milan, we designed steel tubing in specific shapes, butts and forms for the Bivio+. We use Zona tubing that is specially formed to our specification to create wide clearances for tyres. The result of the blend of tubes is a tough frameset that rides comfortably, offers great value and doesn’t weigh too much to be carried up a set of stairs to your Airbnb!

Made in Italy from raw materials to frame
Our steel is made in Italy. It is formed, shaped and cut in Milan by Columbus and sent to our factory in north west Italy to be brazed by hand into a frame. It is dipped in a rust inhibiting treatment and then painted by a neighbouring paint shop. We are proud to say our Bivio+ frame is truly made in Italy.

Clearance for difficult trails
The Bivio+ has clearance for up to 700x50mm or 27.5x55mm tyres. Depending on your tread choice, we recommend maximum 45mm width to provide enough clearance for mudguards and avoid larger stones becoming trapped. Whatever your plans there is clearance for tough conditions and slippery terrain.

Steel fork with multiple rack mounts, dynamo routing, low rider mounts
Like our Heritage, the Bivio+ features a steel chromoly fork, unlike the curved, lugged fork design found on the Heritage models, which is best suited to on-road heavily-loaded road riding. The surfaces being ridden on the Bivio+ are likely to be varied and trails could be rocky and twisty, therefore a structurally stronger unicrown design fork is used. There are a number of bottle mounts on each leg for every type of bottle cages and bag mount, plus barrel mounts for our wide Condor Front Rack and racks from popular brands including Tubus, Tortec and more.

Smart Cabling
The frame features brazed ports for our smart cabling wings. You can run a double or single chainset without having a redundant cable guide to catch your kit on. Should your riding evolve to a different set up, simply fit the other guide.

Bottle cage mounts
There are three bottle cage mounts on the down tube and seat tube (six in total) to give riders flexibility of frame bag and bottle size combo. Moving the position of the bottle cages gives riders the choice of more bag space for larger frames and mounting the cage to the top two bolts for an easier reach. There is an additional set of bottle cage mounts under the downtube, if required.

Internal dynamo routing
Our steel fork features internal cable routing for a dynamo. Carefully designed to keep fuss to a minimum, the internal routing runs through the fork leg for a front light. The top tube houses the routing for the rear light. The fork features two 7.5mm holes for routing with our partner lighting brands, SON and Supanova. Under the top tube there are additional dynamo ports for routing to a rear light and mounting on the seatstay.

External hydraulic brake cable
Unlike our gravel/adventure framesets, Bivio Gravel and Odyssey frames, which have a performance focus and internal brake routing we have chosen to have external cable routing along the top of the down tube to provide ease of access and maintenance, whether that be in the foothills of a great national park or just performing regular checks at home.

Threaded bottom bracket
Condor frames feature a BSA threaded bottom bracket shell. It's an overlooked part of the frame, but a very important one. The lowly bottom bracket doesn’t get much attention, and if it's working properly, that's the way it should be — smooth and silent. BSA is a tried and tested, reliable system, preferred by the two of the most popular component makers, Shimano and Campagnolo. To make life easier, bottom brackets to fit this standard are available from just about anywhere. Fitting a BSA bottom bracket is simple, and the tool required is inexpensive.

Rust inhibiting treatment
After being welded, filed and cleaned of any contaminants from the building process, our steel frames are dipped in a rust inhibiting treatment. The treatment provides a degree of protection, particularly inside the frame, against corrosion caused by acidic substances (including water). We use environmentally conscious treatments that are certified as safe under EU regulations, and not harmful compared to treatments permitted in other regions. Read more
