Coronavirus Information

Following the ministerial announcement on 23rd March, we have revised how we operate at Condor. Our Gray's Inn Road store is open, with reduced staffing and opening hours, and precautionary measures in place in order to minimise the risk to our staff and customers.

We are following government guidelines to ensure staff and customer safety. We kindly ask you visit the store for only for essential items. Please avoid coming in to browse or to try on any soft goods, as these are especially hard to sanitise following contact.

Our website and dispatch centre are fully operational and we are keeping to our same day dispatch target for all online orders. We offer free returns for all UK orders and easy international returns.

If you need advice, support, or have any queries, our customer service team is here to help. We can be contacted by phone, email, live chat, or social media. Full contact details can be found here.

Have your opening hours changed?

We have reduced our opening hours from 1 April 2020 to 11 April 2020 in an effort to minimise the risk for our staff and customers. Please see our contact page for the revised opening hours.

My bike is ready for collection, can I come to the store?

Yes, you can. Bicycle shops are considered an essential service and are therefore on the government's list of exclusions. However, if you don't need to travel, please avoid doing so. We will ship your bike to you for free during this time to reduce unnecessary journeys.

Can I bring my bike in for service?

Yes, we operate a booking system to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the workshop. If you have any of the symptoms of coronavirus or share a household with someone who does, please do not travel to the store.

I need an essential repair, can I bring my bike in?

If you are a key worker and require a repair to keep you moving, we will do everything we can to assist. Please call the store on 020 7269 6820 to check availability before you visit.

My bike is due for its free of charge check-over, but I can't bring it in.

Our free of charge check-over is not likely to be essential during the next three weeks. Please postpone booking this where possible.

My order is ready for collection from the store, can I pick it up?

Yes, you can. In the store we have gloves, hand wash facilities, and tissues. If you would like us to ship your order to you instead, please let us know.

If you have any of the symptoms of coronavirus or share a household with someone who does, please do not travel to the store. We can ship your order to you free of charge.

I am not able to return my order, what should I do?

All UK returns can be returned using our freepost Royal Mail label. We have increased our returns period from 30 to 45 days during this time to encourage staying at home, rather than visiting a Post Office unnecessarily.

Will my order be delayed?

We are keeping to our same day dispatch promise and offer a variety of shipping services. We work with many carrier, all of whom are currently operating a normal service.

Are you offering bike fitting?

We have temporarily suspended bike fitting for the safety of our staff and customers. We hope to be able to offer this again after the 3 week period.

Can I buy a new bike in store?

Yes, we operate an appointment only service. However, we would urge you only to do so if the bike is for an essential need.

Remember to stay at home except for specific reasons

Following the ministerial announcement, we would like to remind you that if we work together we can beat coronavirus. That means: staying at home, except for very limited purposes, defined as:

  1. Shopping for basic necessities, for example food and medicine, which must be as infrequent as possible;
  2. One form of exercise a day, for example a run, walk, or cycle - alone or with members of your household;
  3. Any medical need, or to provide care or to help a vulnerable person;
  4. Travelling to and from work, but only where this absolutely cannot be done from home.

As always, should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch — we are on hand to help in any way that we can.
