OVER THE WEEKEND A TOP FIELD RACED THE FINAL PREMIER CALENDAR OF THE 2010 SEASON AND TWO RAPHA CONDOR SHARP RIDERS CLAIMED THE TOP SPOTS ON THE PODIUM.
Interestingly they were not on the same bikes. Kristian was aloft our race proven Condor Leggero full carbon race frame and Dan Craven on a prototype steel machine.
Dan was first handed the steel frame with unusual oversized headtube earlier in the summer and it had its first outing at the Smithfield Nocturne. Since then Dan had a gap in the racing and took the frame to the Dolomites in Italy and the French Alps. He returned this weekend to take the King of the Mountains prize at the Richmond GP and second place.
The latest result has definitely started a heated discussion between everyone at Condor. It comes down to personal preference just like Shimano vs Campagnolo. It's clear that steel is not yet down and out after all these years.
Congratulations to Kristian House for a great ride at the Richmond GP and a fantastic win.
