Handmade from premium 7000 series aluminium and paired with a high-quality carbon fork, the Italia is a performance road frame at an affordable price. Enhanced frame treatment
Once the frame has been welded and cleaned, it receives a light anodising treatment before being painted. This provides some protection against corrosion, which combined with regular maintenance will help to keep your frame in good condition. Read more
Enhanced aluminium
The Italia is made using the same 7000 series aluminium tubing as the performance-focussed Italia RC. It is custom rolled and shaped to save weight, and the top tube flattened and ovalised to increase strength and reduce unnecessary material.
Maximum versatility
There is no need to compromise when it comes to tyres. Fit up to 28mm along with full mudguards to keep dirty road spray off your body. The Italia has integrated rack mounts, allowing you to keep the weight off your back and onto a rack, making the Italia a fast commuter and winter bike.
Endurance geometry
Unlike our race-focused Italia RC, the Italia uses our endurance geometry. The head tube is slightly taller than on our race bikes to provide a degree of comfort and reduce rider fatigue.

The Italia has been a staple of our range since 1948. In the fifties, riders would use their bikes as a workhorse and at the weekend ride across the country to compete in races.
