Mavic Ksyrium SL Disc Wheelset
Mavic's Kysrium SL discs sit at the top of a range that represents the pinnacle of aluminium wheel technology. The shallow Maxtal rims keep weight to a minimum, and the wheels are laterally stiff and vertically compliant, for a lively, responsive ride that doesn't compromise on comfort.The strength of the build is improved through the incorporation of Infinity hubs, creating balanced spoke tension and making these wheels a solid all-rounder for everyday performance. They can be set up tubeless, without the need for rim tape, with a good seal created every time. Running a tubeless setup allows lower tyre pressures and, consequently, improves traction, maximises puncture protection and reduces rolling resistance.
Maxtal aluminium alloy rims
Maxtal aluminium is light and strong. A material exclusive to Mavic, it has a higher strength to weight ratio than 6106 alloy.
ISM 4D light rim technology
Exclusive to Mavic, Inter Spoke Milling 4 Dimensions technology keeps weight and inertia low, without compromising durability. The result is lively handling, faster accelerations and improved strength: a great combination for wheels designed for on and off road.
Fore tapeless tubeless technology
The lower rim bridge is pushed up and threaded, rather than drilled. The nipples can then be directly screwed in, leaving the upper bridge intact and eliminating the need for rim tape in a tubeless setup, with a perfect seal created every time.
Mavic's Infinity hubs create uniform tension across all the spokes for stability, reliability and a responsive ride. Designed so there is no contact between spokes, the wheel rolls silently, even under high stress or in the event of impact.
