Center Tread:
Consists of dozens of small, tightly packed, diamond-shaped blocks. Because they are close together, they roll smoothly on pavement without the "vibration" of a knobby tire, but because they are individual blocks, they can still "bite" into loose dirt.
Transition Zone:
The blocks become slightly more spaced out as you move toward the edges to help shed a bit of light dust or mud.
Side Tread:
The edge blocks are taller and more reinforced. When you lean the bike over into a loose corner, these knobs dig in to prevent the bike from sliding out.
Mach Tread 3.0 compound: Featuring the Mach Tread 3.0 compound, it delivers 25% greater rebound to minimize energy loss, while increasing tear resistance by 10% to handle the harshest race conditions.
