About this model
You've poured untold hours, miles and sweat into your passion and now Condor delivers a bicycle frame in a material that will lift your experience of cycling to new heights; which makes you want to go out and ride again and again. Stainless steel as a raw material is notoriously difficult to work with, complicating and extending manufacturing times, but the end result is a stunning ride which melds top-tier performance with the ability to be ridden all day, into one, single, purebred bicycle. Each Acciaio Stainless is built upon the request of our customers and is available with Super Acciaio, Acciaio or custom geometry. Each bicycle is offered with a full fit and is available in up to 50 colours.
The frameset is made to order and current lead time is between 6 and 12 months from sign off of your final design and colour scheme.
Custom Geometry & Features
Our price includes fully-custom geometry and a bespoke design, including your choice of up to three paint colours. Additional frame features and finishing options are available and detailed below. Our carefully-developed geometries have been refined over decades of building frames and are designed to suit varying riding styles — whether racing, endurance, touring, or gravel. Select from one of our tried-and-tested geometries, or opt for a fully-tailored design, created around your unique proportions, fit preferences, and riding goals.

Your design, your colours, no extra cost
Attention to detail and design touches make the Acciaio Stainless a beautiful piece. There is no additional charge for extra colours, multiple polished sections or unique designs. Our designers work alongside you to bring the Acciaio Stainless to life. From polished logos and stays to fades, there are no hidden costs; you can have your frame painted the way you want it. Need rack mounts or extra bottle cage bosses? There is no additional charge. The frameset is made to order and current lead time is between 6-12 months from sign off of your final design and colour scheme.
XCr stainless, the ultimate steel
Unlike other stainless steel tubesets, Columbus uses seamless stainless steel, which enables the tube walls to be drawn extremely thin at just 0.4mm. This keeps the weight low whilst having a higher stiffness to weight ratio than Titanium. It is corrosion resistant, too.
44mm head tube
Our 44mm head tube improves control and performance whilst keeping the elegance of a traditional stainless frame. We use the lightest stainless steel, XCr, which means the increase in headtube size does not affect frameweight compared to other stainless framesets.
Chris King headset included
Chris King headset is a coveted component. The Chris King Inset-7 headset is included as standard with all Acciaio Stainless models to provide a classic look. Made in USA. The legendary Chris King's headset is tough, smooth, and built to last for thousands of miles. You can also select Chris King headset in the colour of your choosing to suit your frameset design.
Metal head badge
Condor frames have carried an embossed head badge with a design that dates back to our first frames made in 1948. A laser-cut, copper head badge is included with all Acciaio Stainless frames. It is fixed to the frame with two stainless steel screws.
Popular Design 1: Future Fade
This design features graduated bands on the top and down tube and polished rear stays. It looks great in a single colour, you can choose from one of our 50 custom colours.
Popular Design 2: Horizontal Colours
This design was first introduced with our team issue bikes. It features two colours and polished chainstays and bottom bracket. Our example features purple and melon but you can select any two colours of your choosing or ask us for assistance.
Popular Design 3: The Classic
The simple design are the often the timeless ones. The front triangle of the bike is painted in one of our 50 colour options and the rear is left exposed, some riders choose to paint a portion of the rear seatstays, as shown in our example.
Popular Design 4: The Heritage
Seat tube decals are often found on Condor frames dating from the fifties and sixties. This design is a version of that, where we have polished bands on the seat tube we also apply our original Condor logo in the centre of the seat tube.
Down tube decal options
The down tube design is up to you or we can make suggestions to suit the colour and finish you’ve selected. One of the most popular down tube designs features an exposed stainless steel, polished Condor logo.
