SRAM's latest Force eTap AXS 12-speed groupset sets a new standard in shifting performance, and a big part of it's incredible performance is the Force D1 chain. Featuring all-new technology and innovative design, the Force D1 chain is as radical as chains get.
Developed using technology from the Red D1 chain, the Force D1 chain features the all-new FlatTop design that not only enables SRAM to create a stronger, more durable that is quieter, it also allows them to make the chain narrower, enabling them to use their new X-Range technology on the XG-1270 cassette. The result is a quieter, more durable drivetrain with a bigger gear range. Existing technologies such as SRAM's Chrome plating process and SolidPin construction were utilised and further improved; the result is possibly the most radical chain ever produced and one that takes performance to the next level.
