Shimano Sora is a robust 9-speed groupset packed with trickle-down technology that was first used on performance race groupsets, Dura-Ace and Ultegra in 2012. The Shimano Sora groupset features updated levers with cabling routed along the handlebar.
Sora is ideal for sports/fitness cyclists with stylish and clean design. Ideal for riders who are updating their road bikes or stepping up from a hybrid leisure bike. Sora is great for riders who are commuting and daily riding and looking for great value components and Shimano reliability.
- Ideal for: entry level groupset for road riding, fitness riding, commuting
- Groupset weight: 2660g
- Reach adjustment in levers
- Cables are routed under the bar tape, providing a much cleaner appearance, and gives the groupset a more upmarket look.
- Optislick cable technology - electrically coated layer that improves cable routing efficiency and provides excellent corrosion resistance.
- HYPERGLIDE cassette incorporate specially positioned shift ramps and tooth profiles for improved chain control during shifting.
