Bringing together the flat profile and streamlined shape of our high-performance racing saddle with the tailored zonal comfort of our 3D-printed Adaptive padding, Arione Adaptive provides balanced support from nose to tail, for riders who prioritize complete freedom of movement and aerodynamic body positioning. Finished with a carbon-reinforced nylon shell and lightweight, durable hollow Kium rail.

Arione is a high-performance racing saddle engineered for speed. Designed with a flat profile and an extended, streamlined shape, it’s the longest saddle in the fizik range—offering ample fore-to-aft mobility to support powerful pedaling and position shifts during intense road races and time trials. Ideal for aggressive, aerodynamic riding, Arione helps riders maintain optimal posture while minimizing pressure and maximizing output, whether sprinting for the line or holding an aero tuck in a solo breakaway.
POWER TRANSFER & PRESSURE RELIEF
The specific 3D-printed padding developed for Arione provides a responsive, race-ready feeling to better connect rider and bike. Thanks to the unique capabilities of this technology, we are able to design a padding that incorporates a softer central functional zone, instead of a traditional cut-out, to distribute a rider’s weight more evenly for better pressure relief and improved comfort on longer rides, all while keeping the typical performance feeling of Arione.
No matter if you’re attacking a climb or holding the tempo on flat terrain, this saddle is designed to support you. Moving fore and aft has been made easier by a flatter, slightly extended nose that acts as an optimal base from which to produce power.
LAB TESTED, ROAD PROVEN
The evolution of digital 3D printing has allowed us to develop a new type of saddle without the constraints or limitations imposed by traditional production methods and materials. The Adaptive saddle padding is crafted by Carbon® using their revolutionary Digital Light Synthesis technology. DLS is an additive manufacturing process which uses digital ultraviolet light projection, oxygen permeable optics, and programmable liquid resins to produce parts with excellent mechanical properties, resolution, and surface finish.
TAILORED ZONAL CUSHIONING
Using Carbon® technology, biomechanics and engineers have an unprecedented possibility: to design and manufacture multiple functional zones within the saddle, tuning each of them separately for specific mechanical properties. Each of these key functional zones is engineered for a distinctive cushioning and mechanical response, joined together progressively and seamlessly in the same padding. The result? A 60% reduction in peak pressure through improved weight distribution for increased comfort across the entire saddle surface.
MULTIPLE FEATURES FOR MIXED DISCIPLINES
Arione comes with an optional link to integrate a waterbottle cage to the rear of the saddle. The link is designed to hold bottles at an angle that is out of the way during the critical mounting and dismounting phases at transition zones.
Complying with UCI rules, Arione is equipped with a revolutionary rail insertion that provides a more aero feeling by allowing for a broad range of adjustability, necessary to achieve the ideal forward position to beat the wind.
