Forward facing dropouts
Sometimes punctures happen, and no one wants to spend ages at the side of the road. Unlike traditional single speed frames, with the Tempo you drop your wheel forward, just like a road frame. This makes wheel changes easier, especially if you use mudguards, as there is no need to remove the guard to remove the wheel from the bike.
Triple-butted steel
Steel is the perfect material for rough urban roads and gravel tarmac paths. Steel is inherently compliant, and our triple-butting process creates a lightweight tubeset that won't hold you back.
Clearance for wide tyres
Get the grip and comfort benefits of 28mm tyres without having to forgo full mudguards. You stay dry in the heavy downpours and your bike grips the road despite the wet weather.
Reflective details
All the decals and logos on the Tempo frameset are reflective, helping you stay visible from all sides in the low light of dawn and dusk.
Rust inhibiting treatment
After being welded, filed and cleaned, our steel frames are dipped in a rust inhibiting treatment. The treatment provides a degree of protection, particularly inside the frame, against corrosion caused by acidic substances (including water). Read more
