Super Record X: Campagnolo’s New 13-Speed Gravel Rear Derailleur
The new Campagnolo Super Record X rear derailleur brings top-level performance to gravel riding. It combines compact design, advanced technology, and premium materials to deliver fast, quiet, and precise shifting on any terrain. Built for modern gravel bikes, it can handle cassettes up to 48 teeth and is powered by a long-lasting, quick-charging battery system.
Based on the proven Super Record 2x13 platform, the Super Record X has been specially tuned for off-road use. Its new design ensures smooth and instant gear changes even under pressure, helping riders maintain efficiency on rough ground.
One of its most notable upgrades is the Nano Clutch system—a small, lightweight clutch that keeps the chain tight over bumps and descents, preventing chain drops and improving control. The derailleur’s new position beneath the cassette not only improves aerodynamics but also keeps the pulleys and gears perfectly aligned for quieter, more accurate shifting.
The drivetrain uses two different pulley wheels for better efficiency: a 12-tooth top pulley that maintains spacing across the gear range and a 16-tooth lower pulley that helps the chain run smoothly. The new 92.5 mm carbon cage design supports cassettes up to 48 teeth, perfect for steep climbs. The Ultra-Torque crankset axle has also been updated for gravel use, featuring a 47.5 mm chain line that fits modern gravel frames.
Super Record X includes a universal mount that works with both UDH and traditional dropouts. Its removable battery delivers up to 750 km of range and can be fully charged in just 60 minutes through a USB-C port. Charge levels can be checked through the LED indicator, the MyCampy app, or a connected bike computer. The USB-C port can even be used to recharge a phone in an emergency.
In true Campagnolo style, the derailleur features a refined design using carbon and anodized aluminum, with laser-engraved logos that highlight the brand’s attention to detail. A built-in position sensor ensures the derailleur always moves to the optimal position for each gear, while a manual unlock system lets you move it by hand if needed.
