How to create a festive cycling hamper

Looking for a gift that’s thoughtful, fun and actually useful? Create your own cycling hamper — perfect for riding friends, clubmates, or for spoiling yourself.

Start with our made-in-Italy Condor Musette, then fill it with treats and essentials that your favourite rider will love.

1. Add Tasty Festive Ride Fuel

Ideal for winter miles or anyone tackling the Festive 500.
All bars are available individually — perfect for sampling new flavours. It’s an easy way for riders to find what works best for their taste, stomach, and riding style.

Maurten Bars are designed for riders pushing hard. They’re gentle on the stomach, free from strong flavours, and split into two easy-to-eat pieces, making them simple to manage while pedalling.

For a more indulgent option, Veloforte Bars use real, natural ingredients like whole fruits and nuts, inspired by Italian panforte. With no artificial additives or refined sugars, they’re perfect for riders who prefer cake-like fuel.

Lucho Dillitos Energy Blocks are a traditional South American energy source popular with hikers, cyclists and runners and made from natural guava and sugar. They provide steady energy, along with Vitamin C and potassium to balance electrolytes, and are wrapped in a biodegradable leaf for minimal waste.

2. Add a Riding Essential

Add some ride-ready essentials they’ll use all year: a handy inner tube and Lezyne Smart Patches or a CO₂ cartridge for quick flat-tyre inflation, so they don’t have to hang around in the cold for too long. A Camelbak insulated bottle keeps liquid warm on a chilly ride or stops them freezing up completely.

For riders who prefer indoor training, there’s an Elite bottle non-slip coaster to stop vital liquids from ending up on the floor and sweat protect spray to stop corrosive sweat from damaging the frame.

If their bike is their pride and joy, add a Fenwick’s Chain Sponge or Muc-Off Cleaner to keep frames sparkling despite winter splashes — small things really do make a big difference!

3. Add a Finishing Touch

Jazz up their wardrobe with a festive flourish, such as a cotton cap or a Condor neck warmer.

Or help them give their bike a fresh new look with simple, easy-to-fit accessories like an Ass Saver spray guard, colourful bar-end plugs, or a Fizik seatpost ring that keeps dirt and grime out of the frame while adding a pop of colour.

All that’s left is to choose which colour musette to tuck all the goodies into — and decide how to hang it over the fireplace.
