- Abgestufterer Gangwechsel zwischen den Zahnrädern – mindestens fünf Ein-Zahn-Sprünge – bei gleichzeitig größerer Reichweite
- Der 10-Zahn-Anfang sorgt für einen größeren Übersetzungsbereich
- Entwickelt für die Verwendung mit einem XDR-Treibergehäuse
- Einteiliges X-Dome-Design aus bearbeitetem Stahl zur Gewichtseinsparung
- Alle Zipp-Räder ab 2012 sind XDR-fähig
