Over the past 2 decades the Elite Custom Race has become almost ubiquitous in the World Tour peloton, in recent years over 50% of riders in the Tour De France were using them, a level of domination almost unmatched by any manufacturer in modern times.
The Custom Race X utilises the latest refinements in Elite's moulding and stress-analysis technology to reduce the weight of the cage to just 28.5 grams, 35% lower than the previous model.
Lowered side supports allow for better side access and easier removal in high pressure situations, more support at the base ensures this has been achieved with no loss of retention.
High-strength polyamide construction with fibreglass reinforcement for improved durability and vibration damping.
