The Super Acciaio Ltd takes the legendary performance of our Super Acciaio platform and evolves it for today's rider. Engineered for riders who demand both speed and soul, it combines classic steel craftsmanship with contemporary aerodynamic design and full cable integration.
Born from the Super Acciaio Disc, this latest iteration refines every line and surface. Hidden brake hoses and a fully integrated cockpit (using compatible bars and stem) deliver a clean, drag-reducing front end — a subtle aerodynamic advantage that keeps you fast for longer.
The Super Acciaio Ltd blends modern standards with the timeless feel of steel. A T47 threaded bottom bracket ensures long-term durability and easy maintenance, while the oversized 1.5-inch head tube provides confident, responsive handling through every corner. Fully internal brake routing creates a seamless, aerodynamic silhouette that’s as functional as it is elegant. The result is a frameset that feels alive under power — built for racers, devoted enthusiasts, and anyone who believes that true speed should never come at the expense of ride quality.

Custom-tuned Columbus
Built using Columbus triple-butted steel, we have tuned the profiles of the tubes to create the perfect ride that is sharp, responsive, and comfortable.
Rust inhibiting treatment
After being welded, filed and cleaned, our steel frames are dipped in a rust inhibiting treatment. The treatment provides a degree of protection, particularly inside the frame, against corrosion caused by acidic substances (including water). Read more
Race proven geometry
The Super Acciaio first debuted in 2012, marking one of the earliest appearances of a steel race frame in the modern peloton — fully UCI certified and proven in UCI competition. Developed in collaboration with our UCI Continental team, Rapha Condor, its geometry was refined for rolling terrain, hard surfaces, and long training days, striking the perfect balance of compliance, stiffness, and road feel.
Leggero carbon fork
The Italia RC is equipped with the same high-performance, full carbon fork found on our flagship carbon race frame, the Leggero. This premium fork is engineered for optimal stiffness, lightweight performance, and vibration damping, perfectly complementing the responsive nature of the aluminium frame and delivering exceptional handling. The full-carbon monocoque fork weighs just 350g uncut.
Integrated cable routing
Fully internal routing, with all cables running inside the frame. This not only provides a clean and uncluttered aesthetic but also contributes to improved aerodynamics by reducing drag. Riders can choose from a two-piece bar/stem (from Deda, ENVE, Condor or PRO), or a colour matched one-piece carbon handlebar.

Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH)
Built for the demands of modern cycling, the Super Acciaio Ltd is equipped with a Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH). This standardised dropout ensures future compatibility, enhanced drivetrain protection, and easy replacement of this crucial component.
Stainless steel details
Although the Super Acciaio may have evolved since it was first developed, we have retained the brazed stainless steel tricolor on the chainstay and a Condor stainless bird which is brazed onto the top tube. A nod to our handcrafted frame and Italian builders.
