In celebration of 70 years of Condor, we built some special track framesets. The colour and details of the frame are a near replica of the original race bikes of Condor's first team, Condor-Mackeson, a team which competed reguarily at Herne Hill Velodrome in the 1950s and 1960s. The handmade frames utilise lightweight, modern super-butted Columbus SLX steel tubing.
Etched Investment cast lugs
Investment casting produces a high quality lug from a wax cast. This laborious process creates a lug that is stronger. The top eyes, bottom bracket, fork feature limited edition etching .
Heat treated steel
Our special edition frame features the original Condor logo from the 1940s and 1950s. We use Columbus SLX super-butted butted tubing which is heat treated for strength. Heat treated metal raises the yield strength for the entire tube, increasing dent and impact resistance. This enables the tube to be made with less material creates a lighter frame.
Each of our twelve frames are individually numbered and features the logo of the World Cycling Revival the event in which the bicycles were used for the Condor Keirin Trophy
Bottom bracket: BSA
A comprehensive fitting is included when you purchase a new Condor frame or bicycle so that it is comfortable from the moment you get on.
