After six years of development they've released the Equipe RSR S9 Bib Shorts, a lightweight race ready short that features innovative compression fabric, which reduces drag. The construction of the short is built around what Assos call A-Lock Framework that delivers better pad positioning when cornering and pedaling out of the saddle.
The RSR is the lightest pair of shorts Assos have ever made, weighing in at 160g. The straps are constructed from a fabric Assos call Carbon XBIB, a single piece of supportive material.
Assos have updated their waffle formed chamois too, the plush insert is shock absorbing and made from open cell foam. The pad is perforated at the front to increase ventilation and improve cooling.
