JLT Condor ride in the best to perform at their best.

PEdAL ED asked the riders to write down three important elements to their kit. The team came up with four and PEdAL ED rose to the challenge.

1. Ultra lightweight

Lighter than ever, designed to be almost invisible, the team jersey weighs just 109g.

2. Single panel comfort

Across the upper shoulder section seams were eliminated from the jersey construction to reduce pressure and abrasions.

3. Proprietary smooth fabric = aero advantages

PEdAL ED developed a unique fabric that is incredibly smooth. The fibres are orientated in one direction to aid airflow over the riders body and shoulders.

4. Positioning is everything

The arms of the jersey and race suits are cut long to cover the body with as much aerodynamic fabric as possible. With sleeve seams were positioned behind the arms to decrease air friction.

“Aero drag is 80-90% of the overall resistance affecting a rider on flatter roads and routes", explains JLT Condor pro rider, Ed Clancy. "In a 4km pursuit, 2% of power is spent overcoming drivetrain friction, 5% rolling resistance, 7% kinetic energy (change in acceleration), and 86% aerodynamic drag. Its not about getting the lightest, it is about efficiency."

After countless hours of feedback and testing, the race-proven Leggero  emerged new and speedier than its predecessor with improved aerodynamic efficiency. New oversized square stays increase power transfer and stiffness. The handmade frame is at home on a group ride, tackling climbs, or sprinting for the finish line under a rider as powerful as Ed Clancy.

The Kamm-tail seat tube and post creates an improved aerodynamic flow, saving precious rider watts.
