Join the ride and celebrate seventy years of Condor in style

Sunday 8th July

The Condor Anniversary Festival on Sunday 8th July is a grand day out for riders of all abilities. Set in the grounds of Chillington Hall, Staffordshire, our ride route weaves through luscious green countryside and rolling hills, skirting the rugged hills of the Wenlock Edge, awarded Area Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Celebration lunch, beers, Karma Cola drinks is free to participants. You'll be kept hydrated and fuelled on the ride by OTE. Post ride, chill out in our event village and watch the opening stage of the Tour de France live on our big screen.

The Routes

The Half Monty

70 KM Ride

Elevation: 400m / 1300 ft

Typically: 2-3 hours
Start time: 8.45am - 10am

Perfect for new riders, families and all abilities. The ride passes through small village on quiet traffic free roads. There is a feed station on the route and an undulations or two to test the legs.

The Full Monty

70 Mile Ride

Elevation: 1000m / 3200 ft

Typically: 4-6 hours
Start time: Start time: 8.45am - 10am

Our Full Monty route wiggles west towards historic Ironbridge towards the beautiful climb out of the valley. The ride continues up over The Wrekin, where riders will be greeted by amazing views across in Staffordshire and Shropshire.

The stunning grounds of Chillington Hall, Staffordshire, play host to our festivities, with celebration food and drink served in the idyllic grounds of the stately home.

Refuel in style

Post ride, hydrate and toast your glass with drinks. Tuck into lunch provided by Yorkshire's finest butchers, Allums, and finish with a scoop of handmade gelato.

Two loops

Choose from a 70 mile or a 70 km ride loop. There is something for everyone and all abilities.

Best dressed rider awards at Anniversary festival

 

Best in show awards

We're celebrating seven decades of building performance bicycles. Show us your finest Condor. There will be prizes awarded for best Condor in show — dress up, go vintage, or go pro. We'll be awarding prizes to riders who embody the spirit of Condor.

Ride with JLT Condor

Throughout the festival we'll be joined by riders from JLT Condor. Ride with triple Olympian, Ed Clancy OBE. Maybe he'll give you a lead out through our secret timed section.

Mechanical support

Condor mechanics will be on-hand throughout the ride in support vehicles and at the feed stops to offer their services for free, should anything go awry.

Demo bikes

Want to test our latest framesets or try the newest technology from Campagnolo and Shimano? We'll be hosting demo rides on Saturday 7th July before the main festival day, and in the afternoon of the festival after the main ride.
