The stunning Namur Citadel has played host to the cyclo-cross world cup on several occassions. The venue will be used again when the World Cup returns to Belgium after a successful trip to Milton Keynes, earlier this month. The race which is run around the grounds of the 17th century fortess has often be hit with sleet and snow, making the hilly course even tougher for the competitors.
We are delighted that Condor rider, David Barnes, has been selected to represent Team GB at the race. David has been enjoying a successful winter 'cross campaign this season and finished 6th in the junior competition in the Milton Keynes. David will be competing on his Condor Terra-X cyclo-cross disc bikes on the 21st December, and you can watch the racing live on the UCI You Tube channel.
