Get Clancy Briggs Cycling Academy in your home

The team behind Clancy Briggs Cycling Academy launched CB Live for 2021. The new programme gives children aged between 10 and 18 access to coaches, regardless of their location.

Clancy Briggs Cycling Academy launches nationwide virtual learning

Clancy Briggs was set up by Ed Clancy and Graham Briggs with the aim of teaching children how to ride a bike and improve their skills. During the lockdowns, their classes were put on hold. The coaches trialled online sessions to keep riders motivated and for 2021 are expanding their online classes.

The CB Live Learning Platform

CB Live is a learning platform that teaches children about developing their cycling skills through hour-long training sessions, as well as shorter sessions on topics such as mindset development and nutrition. The sessions are led by ex-pros Ed Clancy, Graham Briggs, and Ali Slater, as well as their British Cycling accredited coaches.

What does the virtual subscription include?

There are two online sessions per week. Monday night's 30-minute class covers off bike topics such as motivation, race craft, post race reviews, how to juggle school, social and sporting commitments, and create a happy balance.

Tuesday's one-hour session is a structured turbo training session, live via Zwift/Zoom. Riders will be joined by coaches who will give advice and complete the session alongside the riders.
