Best things to see at the Cycle Show 2019
The 2019 Cycle Show opens its doors to the public next month with top bikes and kit for your delectation, plus some of cycling's biggest stars will be there, too, and of course, Condor.
The undoubted stars will be the four new framesets we'll be releasing over the show weekend. We don't want to give it all away though so you'll need to visit the show to see them for yourself.
So to whet your appetite, here’s a taster of what you can expect.
Super Acciaio and Italia RC Reboot
One of our most popular race framesets is getting a reboot for 2020. First established in 2012, the Super Acciaio was the first steel frame to feature a tapered head tube, lightweight tubing, and be UCI approved. The Super Acciaio 2.0 is a souped-up version of the frame ridden by Rapha Condor, and features a gorgeous new colour scheme, fork, thru-axles, and is disc ready.
Brompton at Condor
Our friends of all things folding will be joining the Condor stand at 2-B70 to showcase their latest models. Preview their City Apparel range, designed in collaboration with Endura, plus you can test ride the innovative Brompton Electric bike!
Kitty PP, Philip Deignan, and Graeme Obree live
Kitty designed our first female-specific clothing range, and founded KPP. Kitty will be leading a panel on the the Cycle Show stage on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September. There will also be talks and interviews with other cycling hotshots, including former Team Sky rider, Philip Deignan, and world champion/inventor, Graeme Obree.
Watch the final stage of the Tour of Britain and Vuelta live at the Tour of Britain bar
The 2019 Tour of Britain reaches its conclusion on Saturday 14th September, and the Vuelta ends with a sprint stage on Sunday 15th and it will all be shown live on a big screen. We think you should get to the Tour of Britain bar and watch the penultimate stages of both races, too, because that's when the winner will be decided.
New gear delights
Press, click and swoon over SRAM's new eTAP AXS groupset, trial Campagnolo's new look Chorus 12 disc groupsets, Shimano's gravel specific GRX range, and new lightweight shoes from Fizik. The latest gear will be on display from cycling's biggest brands.
