Guide to keeping your bike serviced at home
If you ride your bike every day then we recommend it has a full annual service with a top up service after the winter and summer months. General use, especially in bad weather or poor road conditions, will cause your components to wear, leading to slipping gears, sloppy brakes and continual punctures (always at the worst moment!).
We understand that everyone has busy lives and it's not always easy or convenient to take a bike in for a regular service and sometimes it's not always clear when a bicycle requires a service until something goes drastically wrong!
Giving your bike a 15 minute home heath check will help prolong the life of the parts and help identify anything that requires the qualified mechanics at Condor to take a closer look.
Here are 6 quick tasks you can carry out to keep an eye on the condition of the vital running parts of your bike. We recommend you do this every 2-3 months.
