"This is a shorter loop I do on recovery days. Starting and finishing from Middlewich, Chesire the real climbs come after you've ridden south past Congleton and hit this little ridge before the village of Biddulph. The main climb of the day is called Dumbers, on the edge of the Peak District National Park. As you reach the top you can just see the notorious Cat & Fiddle in the distance.
Find the Cook & Baker in Wilmslow. Some people call it a little slice of New York in Chesire. I can see where they get this idea; the exposed brick, vintage style chairs and tables and an impressive dining table stretching along the centre of the room give it a loft apartment kinda feel."
