Lion of Flanders

IMG_2890

He's not everyones cup of tea due to doping offences. But hey if you can crash at the worlds hardest one day race (Paris-Roubaix) completely oblitterate your knee cap.  To add insult to injury a dangerous infection means you nearly loose that leg. Then life is pretty tough. Johan Museuw returned to the race just 2 years after the crash to win the Paris-Roubaix in 2000. His dogged determination and powerful riding style won him legions of fans all over the world, but he is especially popular in his native Flanders, and was nicknamed Lion of Flanders.

The Lion dropped by the store whilst on a trip to London. It was pretty cool to have Belgian Legend share his thoughts.
