Condor Baracchi Frameset

The Baracchi is designed to be a rider's best friend; a perfect bicycle that delivers quick performance at any speed, and at the same time provides the compliance and fit necessary to make even the longest ride enjoyable. Take a look at some of the bikes used by pros on long, gruelling races and you’ll notice they are different to those used on the short fast circuit races. The Baracchi is built to offer enhanced stability on fast descents and comfort on long climbs. At the front of the bike a flared head tube provides a wider base for improved handling and the tapered shape shaves weight that is not required. Concealed bearings reduce wind resistance. A slightly more upright rider position and longer wheelbase offers excellent vibration damping, proven to reduce fatigue. For 2013, Condor has updated the venerable Baracchi with a new rear carbon triangle making the frameset lighter than the previous incarnation. The improved tube shapes and more efficient carbon layups result in a bike that is stiffer, 50g lighter, and even smoother than previous models. Brake and gear cables are now internal on both the top and down tubes to improve the aerodynamics of the frame and decrease contaminants from interfering with the function of the cables.
