Berlin-based photographer Timm Kölln spent five years and travelled thousands of miles to the biggest cycling races in the world in search of portraits of the entire professional peloton. The results are haunting, beautiful images of 96 riders, seconds after crossing the line, the day's labour written in dirt and sweat on each brow. The Peloton combines photographs with the thoughts of the riders themselves, from the biggest stars of the road to the humblest domestique to discredited drug cheats, painting a picture of a sport in turmoil. The Peloton comprises 188 pages of images and words printed in tri-tone throughout on lustrous Mohawk paper and bound in hardback.
